Chandra Y, Anderson, has held the chief fundraising positions as Senior Vice President of the National Urban League, The United Way of New York City and the Apollo Theater Foundation.
Career highlights include the $550 Million September 11th Fund, $65 Million Capital Campaign to restore the World Famous Apollo Theater and a $250 Million Campaign in support of the Urban League's Centennial. She is best known for developing strong fundraising strategies that achieve goals, garnering board support, building strong donor relationships, and developing systems that support fundraising operations. At all organizations she was responsible for strategic private sector fundraising and donor relations, staffing the President, Board of Trustees and Development Committee, managing the Development team, and driving integration for fundraising across the organization at the national and local levels.
